Welcome to the home page of Hanna & Mike Wardell owners of Elizabeth Creek Farms Pty Ltd. We have one of the largest commercial goat dairy herds in Australia. This spring we will be milking approx. 800 does.
We follow organic principles of farming with our land being certified by Biological Farmers of Australia (BFA).
Our milk could be certified if required. Our farm has a HACCP based on SQF2000 standards.
We are located in the beautiful Strzelecki Ranges of Gippsland in South Eastern Victoria. Our farm consists of 80 ha of undulating hills. For visitors wishing to stay in the region we have a holiday house on site available at a reasonable tariff:

OUR BUSINESS
Our milk is used in the production of specialty cheese. We are looking for avenues of expansion and would welcome enquiries for our milk.
We milk all the main dairy breeds and have some specialist cross breeds with which we are experimenting.
We raise our wethers and sell them for meat or as pets.
We are instigating a program of "proving" bucks in a commercial environment.

Elizabeth Creek Farms Pty Ltd won the Alternative section of the Weekly Times CRT Farmer of the Year 2000 award and was a finalist in the Gippsland Business Awards 2000.
