Woorabinda School Camp at Yallourn north provides an exciting, safe and educational experience for children at a price that most families can afford. It is primarily designed for week long for school groups but also offers weekend and holiday accommodation.
From an idea in 1969, a Cooperative Society was formed by local schools and parents and the old Yallourn Hospital buildings were resited on the banks of the then Yallourn Storage Dam. Who would have imagined such an exciting and different place as Woorabinda as it stands today. Hundreds of aces of natural bush land with walking tracks and magnificent views over Lake Narracan. Over 50,000 school children have been through Woorabinda since then and countless community groups have taken advantage of its very reasonable rates on weekends and vacations.
